88Vape's e-liquids use four ingredients: nicotine, delicious flavourings, Propylene Glycol (PG), and Vegetable Glycerine (VG). Some of our e-liquids are what we call "high VG e-liquids", as they have a higher ratio of vegetable glycerine in their recipe - in this case we've created our 80% VG vape juice range.
High 80% VG juice produces bigger amounts of vapour, and vegetable glycerine also improves the smoothness of your vaping experience, adding a slightly sweet taste to your e-liquid.
88Vape's range of 80% VG e-liquids includes 3mg nicotine, making them ideal for those who want a ‘ready-to-go’, nicotine-containing sub-ohm e-liquid for big clouds and big flavours.
Our ‘sub-ohm’ range is our original high VG e-liquid. All our flavours are 3mg and are sold in single bottles and triple packs where available, with the price still working out at just £1 for a 10ml bottle.
Why Choose High VG E-Liquids?
VG is a common ingredient used in the food industry as a thickener and sweetener, but, we use it for crafting both traditional e-liquid and high VG e-liquids. It creates large, thick clouds of vapour. The higher your VG levels, the larger the clouds will be!
High 80% VG e-liquids are mainly for people who enjoy that satisfying mist of vapour that comes from sub-ohm vaping that you just cannot achieve with a propylene glycol-based vape.
Our 80% VG liquids will produce large, thick vapour that lingers, allowing you to use it for cloud chasing and other impressive vape tricks.
Please note that our 80% VG e-liquids require a sub-ohm coil and a powerful battery and are better suited to direct-to-lung vaping. This requires a deeper, longer inhale, meaning that VG liquids have lower nicotine strengths than PG vapes, because you will not need as much to achieve the same dose as a shorter PG inhale.
What e-liquid should I buy?
The type of device you have dictates what type of e-liquid you should use. From there, you can choose whatever flavour picks your fancy as it's all down to personal preferences. The below are our guidelines when it comes to buying the right type of e-liquid:
Best E-Liquid for Mouth to Lung (MTL) Kit
MTL devices typically tend to go up to 14W, using a coil resistance of 1.0ohm and higher (e.g. Classic, Deluxe, Cosmo A1, ProPod).
For MTL devices, we recommend using a PG70% or 50/50 e-liquid in any nicotine strength you require (from 1mg to 20mg)
Best E-Liquid for Direct to Lung (DTL) Kit
DTL devices, also known as sub-ohms, typically tend to start at around 20W and use a coil resistance lower than 1.0ohm (e.g. ProMod on a 0.6ohm coil, 50W Mod Pen).
For sub-ohm devices, we recommend using a VG70-80% or 50/50 e-liquid with the nicotine strength no higher than 3-6mg.
What flavour e-liquid should I buy?
Flavour preference is all down to the tastes of the individual, so we can't really tell you what you should buy. However, we do have many flavours that people buy month after month and never deviate from - these are known as 'all day vapes'.

What nicotine strength should I use?
The nicotine strength you need all depends on what your smoking habits are (or were!). There’s no hard and fast rule, so you’ll need to experiment.
But as a rule of thumb, we recommend the following based on how cigarettes you smoke per day:
15+ per day – 16mg to 20mg
10-15 per day – 11mg to 16mg
3-10 per day – 3mg to 6mg
1-2 per day – 1mg
